Optricity Corporation Announces Sheila M. Benny as President

Benny to lead Optricity throughout current growth phase with continued focus on client needs

As Optricity enters into its fourteenth year of business, Sheila M. Benny, Co-founder and Owner of Optricity, continues her leadership role within the company as President with plans to strengthen technology innovation, engage the community and support client success around the world.

Recognized in the industry for her dedication and thought leadership, Benny was recently named as a DC Velocity Rainmaker and was previously recognized as a Thought Leader by the same publication. The articles highlight her passion for service leadership, the changes within supply chain, and an emphasis on the need for mentorship to support the evolution and growth of the industry.

“I’m excited to learn Sheila is the new President for Optricity. I’ve known Sheila for 23 years and know she’ll do an amazing job leading the company,” says Norm Saenz, Managing Director of St. Onge and Co-Chair of the North Texas WERCouncil.

In addition to serving as Past President and remaining to be engaged with the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC), Benny will be speaking at the upcoming International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) Distribution Solutions Conference (DSC) during the Women in Foodservice Power Breakfast, which kicks off a day of diversity for the conference. Touching on topics of inclusion and the need for multi-directional mentorship, Benny will shed light on past experiences and what she sees for the future of the industry.

Later this year, Benny will be featured in upcoming Let’s Talk Supply Chain podcasts with host, Sarah Barnes. Topics will include details around Optricity’s beginnings, where the company is headed as well as insight into what sets it apart from other software providers.
