RALEIGH, North Carolina – Sept. 8, 2015 – Orangetheory Fitness, the energizing group interval fitness concept sweeping the nation, is opening two more studios in the Triangle, bringing the total to five in the area. The new studios are located in North Raleigh and Wake Forest, and join the already-open locations in Morrisville, Chapel Hill and Holly Springs. Both new Orangetheory Fitness studios are offering limited-time discounted rates on memberships registered only before the doors officially open.

For North Raleigh, franchise owner Kristie Shifflette will celebrate the grand opening Thursday, Sept. 24 with a VIP party from 5 to 8 p.m. Located in the popular Shops at Falls Village shopping center, the new studio will host the official kickoff to classes with a celebration featuring music, food, drinks, demos and other fun activities. The party will be the final opportunity for prospective new members to get reduced rates. There is no charge to attend the event or participate in onsite activities. For more information and to RSVP, visit the Facebook event.

For Wake Forest, local franchise owner Kristine Bernecki is announcing the location for her first studio. This is the fifth Triangle Orangetheory Fitness studio and it will open late this year in the Wake Forest Crossing Shopping Center. In the meantime, interested individuals can learn more and take advantage of the discounted membership rates at the pre-sale location now open in the plaza. For more information, visit the Facebook page.

Orangetheory Fitness class participants wear heart-rate-monitors as they go through interval training and short bursts of exercise designed to maximize the Orange Effect, which ignites metabolism and adds extra caloric burn for up to 36 hours after the workout. Participants burn up to 1,000 calories per 60-minute class – one of the many reasons Orangetheory Fitness holds the New York Times title as the best one-hour workout in the country.

“North Raleigh and Wake Forest residents will now have the effective and unique heart-rate monitored Orangetheory Fitness workout right in their neighborhoods,” says Shifflette, who also owns the studios in Morrisville and Chapel Hill. “Orangetheory Fitness is a premium product and an amazing workout for any fitness level. Our trainers work very closely with each member to reach their personal goals.”

Orangetheory Fitness memberships never require a long-term commitment and the current reduced rates will be fixed for founding members only, and not subject to increases while the membership remains active. Fees are also not charged until the studios officially open. For more information:
