Paragon Bank Promotes Four Key Individuals

RALEIGH, N.C., March 2, 2015 – Paragon Bank announces the promotions of Donna Gomez, PHR, Carol Holland, Simona Pleasant and Richard Wolfe. Gomez, Holland and Wolfe have been promoted to vice president and Pleasant has been promoted to senior vice president and controller. These employees have excelled in their duties over the past year and possess skills that have expanded the bank’s services and overall success.

Gomez, promoted to vice president, currently serves as the Bank’s HR generalist. A native of Durham, North Carolina, she has been with Paragon Bank more than eight years. Gomez recently achieved her certification as a Professional in Human Resources.

A Raleigh native, Holland was promoted to vice president and actively serves as client relationship manager. Her duties include sharpening client experience techniques with her team and instilling ideas for future initiatives bank-wide. Holland has been at Paragon Bank for seven years.

Pleasant, a recipient of Triangle Business Journal’s 2014 Women in Business Award, was promoted to senior vice president and controller. Since joining Paragon Bank in 2006, Pleasant has coordinated the Bank’s finance department daily activities.

Wolfe, also a five-year member of Paragon Bank’s finance department, was promoted to vice president. Wolfe’s vast experience in the evolving market affords him the discipline to forecast and make the necessary decisions as the Bank’s portfolio manager.
