Ellis & Anthony LLP announces Attorney Nathaniel C. Parker has joined the Wake Forest law firm. Parker will concentrate on real estate litigation, land use, zoning, municipal law and commercial real estate law.

Parker’s legal experience includes litigating complex civil lawsuits involving civil rights, condemnation, challenges to zoning and land use decisions, fraud, breach of contract, unfair and deceptive trade practices, defamation, landlord/tenant disputes, nuisance, title defects, breach of restrictive covenants and claims before administrative bodies and administrative law judges.

Prior to joining Ellis & Anthony, Nathaniel founded Nathaniel C. Parker Law, P.C. in Raleigh where he managed real estate and land use related litigation matters, negotiated and enforced leases, contracts, restrictive covenants and other real estate agreements and helped clients obtain development permissions from local governments. Previously, he was an associate at K&L Gates LLP (formerly Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman, LLP) in Durham.

Parker earned a bachelor of arts degree in public policy analysis with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a juris doctor degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional (LEED AP).

Parker serves as a part-time staff attorney for JusticeMatters, Inc. a Durham-based Christian legal services organization. He’s also is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Land Use and Zoning Section; Christian Legal Society and the Triangle Community Coalition, programs committee. He resides in Wake Forest with his wife Jenny and their three young children.
