Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Progressive Benefit Solutions, William Salmon, was named Co-Chair of this year’s 9th annual Boys & Girls Clubs’ Breakfast of Champions event held October 26 at the Raleigh Convention Center. As Co-Chair this year, Salmon and the Committee raised over $100,000.

The Boys & Girls Clubs provides a positive and safe environment where young people can connect with trained and caring staff and reach their goals. The Breakfast of Champions is the Boys & Girls Clubs’ signature special event established to support the Boys & Girls Clubs’ programs.

“The Boys & Girls Clubs across America provide the community with a fun and safe alternative to many negatives affecting our children in today’s society,” said Salmon. “It is a joy to be able to assist and support such a worthy cause.”

Over the past eight years, the Breakfast of Champions has netted over half a million dollars to support Boys & Girls Clubs programs and attracted approximately 600 people every year.

Progressive Benefit Solutions, a full-service employee benefits consulting and brokerage firm based in Raleigh, NC, was a “Three Point Sponsor” for this year’s event. Also during the breakfast, Prentiss Baker, Chairman of Baker Roofing and a client of Progressive Benefit Solutions, was inducted into the Boys & Girls Club Hall of Fame for his support of the programs and outstanding achievements throughout his life.
