“Dress Luxe” Teams with ma Cares as Retail Partner Supporting NC Charities
RALEIGH, N.C. — Triangle trendsetters typically have to travel to find stores selling Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Prada. But the fashion forward can now find those items in the Oak City — and support a nonprofit while looking fabulous.
Couture clothing and accessories from Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Balenciaga and other high-end designers have arrived at Dress, a Raleigh boutique offering new and resale designer fashion. Most pieces in the Dress Luxe line still feature the original tags and are offered at a fraction of the retail cost.
This exceptional “Dress Luxe” line is consignment couture for the benefit of others, said Dress Owner Pam Mullaney. The boutique is partnering with nonprofit group ma Cares, with a portion of proceeds going directly its mission. The Greensboro-based ma Cares supports multiple efforts, including rescue and training of veterans’ service dogs, housing help for the homeless and breast cancer research.
“We are thrilled to see these designers now in the Triangle.” Mullany said. “Our Dress Luxe line allows women who would normally shop for these designers online or in other cities a chance to buy them in Raleigh. Their sense of style will support the important work ma Cares does in North Carolina.”
“The issues, positive or negative, that impact one community have a ripple effect,” said Brandi Quinn, president of ma Cares. “We’re thrilled to be part of ‘Dress Luxe’ because this positive step will improve the lives of so many people.”
The high-end “Dress Luxe” runway is now open, Mullaney said, and new items continue to come in. Some of the current pieces include:
Reed Krakoff python bag
Christian Dior strapless black crepe gown
Silk blouse from Chloe
Chanel leather skirt
Ink crystal heels from Chanel
Alice & Olivia
Reed Krakoff bags
Triangle women interested in purchasing the items can visit Dress at its location in the Ridgewood Shopping Center, 3528 Wade Avenue, Raleigh.
