RTP CFO Forum Features Discussion on Health Care Reform
RALEIGH, N.C. (September 30, 2011) — The RTP CFO Forum (www.rtpcfos.com)will hold its monthly meeting on Friday, October 7, 2011. The organization serves as a peer-to-peer networking and discussion opportunity for more than 200 senior financial executives in the Triangle area. The October meeting will focus on health care reform.
The featured speaker at the meeting will be Melissa Nelson, MPH, RD, employee benefits consultant with Senn Dunn Insurance (www.senndunn.com) out of Greensboro, N.C. She will discuss health reform provisions set to go into effect in 2014. Additionally, she will help members gain an understanding of applicable credits and penalties for employers and employees.

• Exchanges
• Premium credits
• Employer penalties
• Reporting requirements
Nelson advises companies and organizations on all aspects of employee benefits programs, with particular expertise in consumer-driven plan design, wellness programs and health care legislation. She has presented on health care reform extensively, including previous CPE events for VACO Raleigh and the Raleigh Durham American Society of Women Accountants.
