RTP CFO Forum to Discuss the Factors that Drive Fast Growth in Exceptional Companies
The RTP CFO Forum (www.rtpcfos.com) will hold its next monthly meeting on Friday, April 11, 2014. The organization serves as a peer-to-peer networking opportunity for more than 200 senior financial executives in the Triangle area to discuss topics of interest.
The featured speaker will be Jim Jubelirer, owner of Jubelirer Results Group. He will present “What Makes a Gazelle Run?” Gazelles refer to a small class of companies that grow 20 percent or more annually for four years, at least doubling their revenue in the process. Although they account for only a small percentage of all businesses, they account for a majority of the new jobs in the economy. Differing from elephants, who are slow and not very innovative, and mice, who run around but fail to develop, gazelles are small firms that grow quickly and create employment.
“We look forward to hearing Jim Jubelirer’s presentation about the key drivers that enable firms to grow quickly and consistently over time,” says Mike Poe, RTP CFO Forum board member and CFO of XinRay Systems. “Jim is an accomplished presenter and business coach who can provide valuable insights on business strategy to executives.”
Jubelirer is a certified Gazelles Coach, one of only 125 in the world and serves as an Executive Coach at the Duke Leadership Program at the Fuqua School of Business. He is also active with RTP Capital Associates and will be featured in the upcoming book, “Mastering the Art of Success.”
The RTP CFO Forum normally meets the first Friday of every month from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. (but is meeting on the second Friday of April 2014 due to scheduling conflicts) at the Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP office in Raleigh. Membership in the forum is free, limited to CFOs and by invitation only. To request to join the group, please email join@rtpcfos.com.
