TOURtech, a managed IT services company for corporate, sporting and entertainment events, announces that Shaw Garrison has joined the team as the vice president of operations. With nearly two decades of experience, he is responsible for oversight of resource management and logistics.

Garrison has a wide range of skills in event production including budgeting, logistics, contract negotiations and merchandising. He joins the TOURtech team having previously worked with Live Nation for nearly 10 years producing events throughout North and South Carolina, including the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion and Red Hat Amphitheater. Garrison also spent four years as the road manager for the band Widespread Panic and four years serving as tour manager for Everything, a band famed for the ’98 hit song ‘Hooch.
