Charlotte business and philanthropy leader Spencer Lueders has acquired the Maintenance Division of Stone Restoration of America and rebranded the company as Stone Building Services.

Originally formed as Stone Restoration of America – which continues as a leader in construction, waterproofing, masonry, and building exterior maintenance – Stone Building Services is dedicated to the original, core business of restoration, preservation and maintenance of commercial stone, metal, wood and concrete surfaces.

As a stand-alone entity, Stone Building Services is led by owner and president Lueders and general manager Brett Davis. The Stone Building Services team of 15 remains the same and includes expert technicians with a high level of skill and decades of experience.

“We are excited to carry on the history of exceptional quality and service that began as Stone Restoration of America, but with a dedicated focus on our restoration and maintenance clients using modern communication tools and a 24/7 approach to ensuring unparalleled results,” said Lueders. “We operate out of the same location with the same equipment, staff, and dedication to quality, but I think our clients will notice the difference in our customer service.”

Lueders brings a 20-year career spanning engineering, law, motorsports, business operations and management to his new role. In addition, he is the founder of 24 Hours of Booty – a Charlotte-based nonprofit that has raised over $15 million to support local and national cancer efforts. He also co-founded the Giordana Velodrome, which is part of the Rock Hill Outdoor Center at Riverwalk and a world-class venue for local and national track cycling events. A native of Dallas, Texas, Lueders was a varsity soccer goalkeeper for the University of South Carolina where he obtained a mechanical engineering degree and a law degree.
