Sherrod Banks, Principal of The Banks Law Firm, announced The Banks Law Firm has been named General Counsel to the North Charleston Housing Authority, providing legal services for all facets of its operations. Tanya Locklair will act as General Counsel for the Authority.

Locklair is a Principal at The Banks Law Firm. She joined the Firm in 1996. Her areas of concentration are commercial real estate and affordable housing and community economic development law. Since joining the firm, Ms. Locklair has taught seminars and lectured in the area of affordable housing and community economic development law. Ms. Locklair is involved in all aspects of HOPE VI transactional work. Ms. Locklair is a member of the American Bar Association Real Property and Business Law Sections; South Carolina Bar Association Real Property Section; and the North Carolina Bar Association Real Property Section.
