The Carolina Center to Give Colon Cleansing and Detoxifying Your Body Presentation on May 17
The Carolina Center for Integrative Medicine (CCIM) continues its ongoing wellness presentation series by hosting “Cleaning From the Inside Out: The Art and Science of Detoxification” on Tuesday, May 17 from 7-8:00PM. This free presentation will be held at CCIM’s office at 4505 Fair Meadow Lane, Suite 111 in Raleigh and will be presented by John Pittman, MD.
Several organs—notably the colon and liver—participate in detoxification processes that are essential to health and vitality. Dr. Pittman says that without proper detoxification, health usually shows a steady decline.
“Toxic chemicals and heavy metals saturate the environment in which we live, and there is no way to avoid them completely,” explains Dr. Pittman. “For example, automobile exhaust contains mercury, benzene, and carbon monoxide. Much of the body’s toxic burden is also related to toxins generated from within, as a result of gut infections and other factors.”
During his 60-minute presentation, Dr. Pittman will discuss methods to increase the functioning of the colon, liver, and other detoxification organs in order to further reduce the body’s burden of toxins and improve cellular efficiency. The talk will also explore the cleansing benefits of targeted nutritional and herbal products, chelation therapy, colon hydrotherapy, and how combinations of these strategies can yield the best results.
Seating for this presentation is limited and advanced registration is required in case of cancellation. To reserve your seat, register online by visiting www.carolinacenter.com/seminar-calendar.html or call (919) 571-4391.
