The Very Hungry Caterpillar Comes to Grabbagreen in Ballantyne – March 30

The Ballantyne location of Grabbagreen® will welcome The Very Hungry Caterpillar on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10-11:30 a.m. Children and their families are invited to meet and have their picture taken with The Very Hungry Caterpillar and enjoy a live reading of the classic children’s book at 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. at Grabbagreen’s Ballantyne location in Toringdon Market at 3429 Toringdon Way, #104 in Charlotte.

Written and published in 1969 by Eric Carle, The Very Hungry Caterpillar has sold over 30 million copies and was voted the No. 2 children’s picture book in a survey of School Library Journal readers. It has won numerous awards including the American Institute of Graphic Arts Award in 1970.

Grabbagreen® will also offer free very berry smoothie samples during the event along with their regular “Kids Eat Free” weekend special.
