Yates, McLamb & Weyher Founder Accepts Appointment to N.C. State Bar

Bonnie Weyher, founding partner of Yates, McLamb & Weyher, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based litigation firm, has been appointed to the Disciplinary Hearing Commission of the North Carolina State Bar. She will serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2012.

Weyher, a defense lawyer and certified Superior Court Mediator, has more than 35 years of experience practicing law. She focuses her practice on professional liability and insurance coverage. Weyher has served in multiple leadership roles with the North Carolina State Bar including that of president during 2009-2010.

The Disciplinary Hearing Commission is composed of 12 lawyers and eight public members. The commission fields complaints referred by the Grievance Committee, reinstatement petitions and other claims. All hearings are open to the public.
